The organisers of the Nyege Nyege Festival have officially unveiled Adrift Uganda, located along the Kalagala Falls, as the new home for the festival’s 10th anniversary edition. During a press conference and site visit held at the venue today, Talent Africa Group reaffirmed their
readiness to host thousands of revelers when the four-day festival kicks off tomorrow, Thursday 20th November, and runs through Sunday 23rd.

Speaking to the media, Talent Africa Group CEO Aly Allibhai said that after weeks of intensive on-ground preparation, all departments were fully aligned to deliver a safe, seamless and elevated festival experience. He emphasised security as the top priority, noting that all national
security agencies are working jointly with festival management to ensure safety throughout the event.

Alybhai highlighted that this year’s edition has been curated to offer multi-layered experiences, including uniquely themed stages, world-class lighting and sound, cultural showcases, art installations, and diverse hospitality options. “This is a premium celebration of music, culture
and community,” he noted, adding that festival-goers can expect quality food and bar service, strict operational controls and an emphasis on creativity across the site.

Ticket sales are still ongoing, with organisers urging revelers to buy in advance. MTN MoMo is currently offering an all-weekend pass at UGX 150,000, a limited promo described as “the best deal for festival-goers this year.” In a move to position the festival as a gateway into Uganda’s tourism potential, the organisers announced a new integration of adventure tourism experiences through partnerships with Adrift
Uganda and the Lemara Group.

Revelers will have the chance to experience white-water rafting, bungee jumping (priced at UGX 200,000 during the festival), quad biking and river cruises. Both Adrift Uganda and the Uganda Tourism Board will operate booking desks on site, with special packages for international guests. Peter Mubeezi, representing Adrift’s operations team, reaffirmed their readiness to host the festival, citing the vast expanse of the venue and its capacity to accommodate multiple activities and stages simultaneously.

The festival’s long-standing partner Uganda Waragi highlighted the synergy between its 60-year milestone and Nyege Nyege’s 10-year celebration. Brand Manager – Spirits, Hillary Baguma, said the partnership creates a uniquely Ugandan experience resonating with both brands’ cultural heritage. All Uganda Waragi variants will be available across the festival grounds.

The venue will also feature newly developed spaces such as UGX Village—a vibrant fashion and cultural marketplace—and The Hive, which will host music conferences, podcasts, keynote sessions and industry conversations. Delegates, including booking agents, music label executives and international partners, are expected to use this space as a networking hub.

These come alongside the festival’s renowned resident stages, including the Uganda Waragi Tent, Bantu Vibes, Hakuna Kulala and others. A new Sunrise Stage has been created along the water near the Kalagala Falls, operating strictly from 6am to 6pm for safety. Access and Transport Organizers advised revelers travelling from Kampala to use the Gayaza–Kayunga route, all the way to Kangulumira town which is the most efficient way to the venue. Ticket verification will be conducted at the Kangulumira Town Council offices, where free shuttle services will then transport attendees directly to Adrift Uganda.

This year’s Nyege Nyege Festival is organised by Talent Africa Group in partnership with Uganda Tourism Board (UTB), Uganda Waragi, Trace TV, NBS TV, NRG Radio, Explore Uganda, Red Bull, Fairway Hotel.
