Alliance Française Kampala, in partnership with Talent Africa Group, has officially launched the Bridges & Beats cultural experience following a vibrant press conference held in Kampala, setting the stage for one of the city’s most anticipated events.
The media launch brought together key cultural stakeholders, artists, and members of the press, offering insight into the upcoming event slated for March 28, 2026, at Kingdom Kampala starting at 4:00 PM.
Among the artists present were Elijah Kitaka, Tracy Melon, and Blac Queen, all of whom are expected to perform at the main event alongside other acts.
Speaking during the briefing, Loïc Boivin highlighted the significance of cultural exchange, noting that the event embodies the spirit of Francophone collaboration by fostering creativity, openness, and cross-cultural connection between Ugandan and French-speaking communities.
On his part, Aly Allibhai said the event is designed to offer more than entertainment, describing it as an immersive experience that blends music, art, and lifestyle elements to redefine how audiences engage with culture in Kampala.
Organisers say the event will feature a diverse programme combining live performances, DJ sets, and interactive stage experiences, with a focus on merging Ugandan and Francophone sounds into a dynamic cultural showcase.
Tickets for Bridges & Beats are now available through the Talent Africa App, with early bird prices set at Shs20,000 (standard) and Shs50,000 (VIP). Gate tickets will retail at Shs30,000 and Shs60,000 respectively. Purchases can also be made online or via USSD by dialing *165*98#.
The 2026 edition is supported by a number of partners, including the Embassy of France in Uganda, other Francophone missions, and TotalEnergies, with media backing from NBS Television and Capital FM.
