For nearly two years, Ava Peace has been one of the most consistent hitmakers on Uganda’s music scene and now, the singer says she’s officially in a league of her own.
In a bold statement that’s likely to stir conversation in the industry, Ava Peace has declared that she no longer sees any artist, male or female, as her competition. With chart-topping singles and standout collaborations under her belt, she believes she’s earned the crown.
“I no longer have competition. I don’t see anyone competing with me currently because I am the one leading. I am focused on that because my music is everywhere,” Ava confidently stated.
Known for her hit songs and powerful collaborations, Ava Peace has steadily climbed the ranks to become a dominant force in Ugandan pop music. Her fans praise not just her sound but her consistency, with nearly every release cementing her presence on radio, streaming platforms, and social media.
According to Ava, her biggest competition now is herself.
“I do music as a business, and I’m not ready to stop. I work every day to be better than yesterday, and what you see comes after much effort.”
Her rise has been particularly remarkable since when she parted ways with fellow artist Mudra and joined Jeff Kiiwa’s Team, her brand has grown stronger, and her music has gained even more traction.
