New bride and gospel singer Desire Luzinda used her wedding day not only to celebrate love but also to pay a touching tribute to her daughter, Michelle, who she described as her greatest supporter and life partner in every situation.
While giving her speech, Luzinda thanked family, friends, and well-wishers who had stood by her throughout her journey to marriage. But her most emotional words were reserved for her daughter, whom she called her “ride or die.”
“I want to thank Michelle especially. I love her so much and thank her for being my first support and love. She doesn’t discriminate against people that I love. Those who have been close to her know that she loves genuinely,” Luzinda said.
The mother-daughter pair has long shared glimpses of their close bond on social media through fun videos of trips, quizzes, conversations, and dinner dates. Their deep connection, Luzinda explained, is rooted in Michelle’s respect, openness, and unconditional love.
“When I introduce someone to her, she will take them in because she knows the person is definitely good the moment I introduce them. She has made my life easy because she is very forgiving, very understanding, and we have been on the same page in every situation. She has not given me any issues, and I thank God for giving me a gift of a daughter who is a good listener and doesn’t disrespect me,” she added.
In his speech, gospel star Levixone also praised Michelle, describing her as a respectful and loving child. He prayed for God’s blessings upon her life, recognizing her role in supporting her mother through the ups and downs of life.
