The former Archbishop of Toulouse, France, Fr Robert Le Gall has commended the Islamic Republic of Iran for protection the religious history values that has helped the younger generation to reflect on the past.

Gall made the remarks while presiding over the recent spiritual meeting and celebration of Christmas with the students of Ahlul Bayt International University Tehran
Every year Ahlu-l Bayt International University hosts charismas for international Students as way of spreading love and unity among Christian students.
This event that took place at University main conference , attracted different International students from 20 nations including Uganda, Brazil, Tanzania, Pakistan, Japan, DRC Congo, Burundi, Nigeria, Afghanistan, Indonesia, and Thailand among others
Speaking during celebration the Saeed Jazzari, the Rector of Ahlul Bayt International University said it’s the institutions norms to celebrate the birth of the Messiah Jesus Christ due the fact that Iran is the cradle of thought, knowledge and support for divine religions and has a historical role and It has support for religions.
“The day is like Eid not only for Christianity and the followers of the school of Jesus (pbuh), but also for us Muslims and every free person in search of peace, spirituality and the kingdom” said Jazzari,
He also noted that the purpose of the ceremony to convey the message of respect for the beliefs and thoughts of foreign students of different religious who are currently in Iran as their second home and expressed hope:
This culture makes students to strengthen their interaction and friendship with the followers of the heavenly and divine schools.
He noted that more than 99 percent of students from various streams, cultures and continents study at Ahl al-Bayt International University (A.S.) in nearly 30 fields of study in its various faculties.
“ Being Islamic Country does not mean rejecting other cultures and religions, therefor as the Iranian people , this historical practice of loving and interacting with different ethnic cultures and religions makes our scientific diplomacy great” Jazzari,
Hojjat al-Islam Jazzari considered the freedom of thought and free thinking and the presence of poets, scientists, thinkers and prominent personalities in this land as a cradle of thought and knowledge to be a source of pride and pride for Iran and noted.
Our celebration in this university is also a manifestation of respect and bowing to Divine religions and epistemological cultures and foundation are aimed at strengthening religious interaction among students

The presence of presidents on the night of the birth of Jesus (A.S.) at home Christian citizens and the congratulatory messages of religious and scientific elders of the country to Iranian and non-Iranian Christians are another proof of the position of Christianity in Iran
