The much-loved Jameson Hangout is making a comeback this April, with organizers Talent Africa Group confirming that the first edition of 2025 will take place on Saturday, April 26, at the Ndere Cultural Centre in Ntinda.
Known for creating a relaxed yet vibrant social experience, the Jameson Hangout is part of the broader Jameson Bond & Connect series. It is designed to bring people together for a full day of music, games, food, and the unmistakable taste of Jameson Irish whiskey.
This April’s edition will be headlined by Afro-soul sensation Kenneth Mugabi, whose deep vocals and storytelling lyrics have earned him a loyal following. Joining him on stage will be a rich lineup of performers including Mike Mungu, DJ Bugy, Josh MC, Tukus, Professor Joewi, The Black Wave Sounds, City Girl, DJ Tony, and Adele Kiele.

The previous edition of the Jameson Hangout, held on September 28, 2024, set a high bar with a powerful mix of local and international acts. Nigerian band Alternate Sound electrified the crowd, while Ugandan stars Irene Ntale, Beenie Gunter, Shawn Maine, and Denesi kept energy levels high throughout the day. That event also featured a dynamic DJ roster including Kasbaby, Vanss, Viana Indi, Tony, Sean Preezy, Adele Kiele, and Lynda Ddane.
More than just a music event, the Jameson Hangout has evolved into a lifestyle experience. Guests can look forward to immersive activities including interactive games, trendy pop-up shops, delicious barbecue bites, and grooming services such as free haircuts. As always, Jameson cocktails will be flowing, and those seeking a little ink can enjoy discounted tattoos on site.

Gates will open at 2:00 PM to allow guests ample time to soak in the full experience. Early bird tickets are available for UGX 25,000 via www.tagticketing.com or by dialing 16598#, with tickets at the gate going for UGX 30,000.
The event is powered by Talent Africa Group in collaboration with Pernod Ricard and supported by transport partner SafeBoda.
With a carefully curated experience and a growing fanbase, the Jameson Hangout continues to carve out a unique space on Kampala’s social calendar — one that blends music, lifestyle, and the unmistakable taste of good times.
