Former Kream Production band singer Daudi Mugema has been found dead in a hotel room in Gulu City. According to sources, Mugema had traveled to Gulu to seek for financial assistance from Gen. Salim Saleh, the Chief Coordinator of Operation Wealth Creation (OWC) and brother to President Yoweri Museveni.
The cause of death remains unknown, and authorities are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding Mugema’s passing.
Mugema had been battling a severe health condition that caused swelling in his limbs, which he linked to his time spent in prison. He had been arrested over a political song titled Wumula.
He had previously benefited from Saleh’s support and the assistance had helped him establish a permanent residence and stabilize his finances.
