Musician Ava Peace has strongly responded to ongoing allegations linking her success to prostitution, calling out critics who undermine her achievements with baseless rumors.
While performing as a guest at an event earlier this week, the fast-rising star was confronted by attendees about the controversial claims that have followed her since her breakthrough into the music scene. Clearly upset by the accusations, Ava didn’t hold back.
In an impassioned response, she reminded her audience that her success is the result of relentless hard work.
“That is said every time they see you going higher and getting more money. I’m one of the most booked female artists in Uganda, mind you,” Ava stated.
The singer revealed that she has been performing non-stop, with shows lined up every single day, Monday to Monday. She emphasized that she hasn’t had a proper rest in weeks due to her demanding schedule, something she takes pride in.
“I haven’t slept yet because I’m always on the road. I work every day. I’m not surprised when they say that because they are jobless,” she added.
Ava Peace also addressed the speculation about her wealth, clarifying that her financial success comes directly from her work in the music industry and not from anything inappropriate.
“I’m on stage and posting my shows every day. I make my own money. I won’t disclose my earnings, but it’s a substantial amount. I’m a very rich woman with my money,” she said confidently.
Taking a final jab at her detractors, she hinted that some of the critics may be projecting their own biases and experiences.
“I cannot blame someone like that because maybe her inspirations have done that,” she concluded.
