It is a heartbreaking moment for Ugandan singer Tom Dee and his family following the death of his mother-in-law, who passed away in the early hours of Tuesday morning at Mulago Hospital.
The late, who is mother to Tom Dee’s partner Agather Katrina, had been undergoing treatment for several weeks, surrounded by family and loved ones who held on to hope for her recovery. Unfortunately, despite their prayers and the efforts of medical professionals, she passed away leaving the family in deep sorrow.
Tom Dee took to his social media platforms to break the news to fans and followers, writing:
“Ladies and gentlemen, thanks for your support and prayers, but I announce the death of Agather’s mother at Mulago Hospital this morning.”
Following his announcement, a wave of condolences and messages of support have flooded Tom Dee’s pages from fans, fellow musicians, and industry peers. Many have expressed sympathy and solidarity with the grieving couple during this painful moment.
