Last Friday, October 31st 2025, NyegeNyege and Talent Africa Group hosted the Rave to the Grave Halloween Party at the Somewhere Else Bar in Naguru, an event that transformed the venue into a hauntingly vibrant celebration of music and mischief.
As the main sponsor, Smirnoff played a pivotal role in making this unforgettable night possible. The atmosphere was electric, filled with thrilling performances and an enthusiastic crowd ready to embrace their wildest, spookiest selves.
The evening kicked off with the spectacular opening of the Nyege Nyege Portal—the Ekiggunda Ky’Omuliro: Gathering of the Flame.
As the moon rose high, VX Faizal and DJ Rocky navigated the night with dynamic mixes of house, hip-hop, and Afrobeat, while the captivating Aweko Brian enchanted the crowd with his Afro-pop and contemporary R&B hits.
R3ign Drops, known for his popular tracks “Rise Up” and “Vibe Check,” alongside Hibotep, brought innovative fusions of hip-hop, trap, and Afrobeat, inviting everyone to explore the unknown. Meanwhile, Authentic Voices Africa celebrated the richness of African music with vibrant performances that beautifully blended traditional and contemporary sounds, promoting cultural unity.
The night was filled with thrilling activities, from pumpkin carving while revelers donned their spookiest costumes. The eerie yet electrifying ambiance left attendees with memories that will linger long after the last beat dropped.
