The event aims to promote social change, unity, and empowerment among young people through the power of hip-hop music and dance.

Breakdance project Uganda is nonprofit organization that uses Hip-Hop and Arts for education, empowerment and social change.

Since its inception in 2006, BPU has been harnessing the power of breakdancing and hip-hop to drive positive social change among Ugandan youth.

It has provided free breakdancing classes to thousands of young people in Kampala and beyond. The project’s founders believe that by empowering youth through dance, they can help bridge social divides, promote self-esteem, and resolve conflicts.

They have delivered workshops and classes to disadvantaged communities, including street children, orphans, and juvenile prisoners.
