Uganda is set to experience a major Afrobeats explosion as Nigerian music stars Bayanni, Boy Spyce, and Magixx touched down at Entebbe International Airport this morning at 9 AM, fresh from a high-energy performance in Nairobi. The three sensational Mavin Records artists are in the country for the East Side Tour, with the Ndeere Cultural Centre set to host their much-anticipated show today at 4 PM.
Riding on the success of their Kenyan leg, the trio promises to bring the same fire to the Kampala stage, treating Ugandan fans to live renditions of their hits and the signature Mavin sound that’s taking Africa by storm. After the Ugandan stop, the tour heads to Tanzania, as the artists continue their East African takeover.
Adding extra sparkle to the event are co-hosts Lil Stunner, Sheila Gashumba, and Sheila Salta, who will command the stage with their signature flair. Behind the turntables, DJ Rocky and DJ Tony will be spinning the hottest tracks to keep the crowd on their feet all evening.
Uganda’s own stars will also take the spotlight, with live performances from Ava Peace, Vinka, Joshua Baraka, and Denesi lined up to warm the stage for the Nigerian superstars.
Speaking about the event, Aly Allibhai, CEO of Talent Africa Group, the event’s organizers, said:
“We’re thrilled to host Bayanni, Boy Spyce, and Magixx in Uganda. Their music speaks to a generation across Africa, and this concert is more than just a performance – it’s a celebration of talent, energy, and African culture.”
