Ugandan media personality Forever Etania has issued a firm public statement distancing herself from the business affairs of her boyfriend, fast-rising singer Joshua Baraka.
Taking to her social media platforms, Etania expressed growing frustration with people constantly reaching out to her with music-related requests aimed at Baraka. From collaboration proposals to booking discounts, Etania says she’s had enough.
“Guys, I am not Joshua. Joshua has a manager who is LOB. Reach out to him. I am getting tired with this mannerism of ‘Ohh I was hoping you could talk to Joshua for me!’” she wrote
Known for her bubbly personality and presence both on air and online, Etania made it clear that despite being in a relationship with the artist, she plays no role in his professional team.
“NO, I am not on his team, neither can I get you a collab. Nor can I get you a discount on his booking fee. Stop stressing me out. Go follow him on his socials, follow his team Sese Nation or his manager!”
Etania tagged Joshua Baraka’s official manager @lobst4r and Baraka himself @itsjoshbaraka and said those are there social media usernames for quick access.
