Just hours after news broke that singer Weasel had been hospitalized following an alleged domestic altercation involving his partner Sandra Teta, new footage circulating online appears to contradict initial reports that she hit him with a car.
According to the widely shared video, Teta did attempt to drive toward Weasel during a heated exchange near a popular bar in Munyonyo, but she never actually struck him. The footage shows Weasel provoking Teta and she approaches him but there is no visible impact.
The incident, initially reported as a possible “hit-and-run” that left the singer with a suspected leg fracture, now appears less severe, prompting speculation that the entire event may have been a stunt or a misrepresentation.
As soon as the video emerged, reactions on social media shifted from concern to criticism, with fans questioning the authenticity and motive behind the initial narrative.
“So we were made to believe Weasel was knocked by a car? Yet the video says otherwise. This better not be another attention stunt,” wrote one X user.
“First it was Sandra’s bruises. Then Weasel’s ‘broken’ leg. Are these two okay? Or is this toxic drama part of the brand now?” another user questioned.
Others accused the couple of exploiting domestic violence issues for publicity, warning that such stunts, if confirmed, could damage public trust and minimize real victims’ voices.
This is not the first time the couple has sparked controversy. In 2022, photos of Sandra Teta with facial injuries made rounds on social media, sparking outrage and calls for accountability. However, both parties downplayed the situation and no legal action followed.
